Ball Mastery CampThe Ball Mastery Camp will provide advanced skill training and will focus on the technical aspects of the game to increase individual performance. Sessions will be dynamic, fast pace, and will cover all areas of technical development. The curriculum emphasizes juggling, ball control, fast footwork, dribbling, receiving, and passing skills. Juggling and Ball Control Juggling is a key element to developing the foundation of soccer success: ball mastery. Fast Footwork Fast footwork will help you become comfortable with the ball at your feet in tight areas, allow you to get away from opponents in situations you never thought possible, not to mention develop quality “touch” in both feet. Dribbling Players will hone their footwork; learn how to beat opponents off the dribble, and how to better protect the ball. Receiving Receiving is one of soccer’s most fundamental individual skills and requires great concentration and practice because of the countless ways in which a ball may arrive. Passing Learn all kinds of different ways to distribute the ball. Including playing it long, short, weighted, over the top and with different parts of your feet, like back heel pass. Elite Striker / Keeper CampsElite/Striker Focus on shooting, composure in front of the net, back-to-goal play, and of course finishing. Scoring goals is what every striker dreams about. Simply, if you don’t score, then you are not performing well. We would say that playing striker is the toughest and most painful position to play. This is because you need to have great soccer dribbling and soccer shooting skills but also because defenders will do everything in their power to stop you. There is no greater feeling then scoring a goal, so don’t give up so easily;instead, try your best and the goals will come. The will and personality of a great striker is what all top coaches look for. Our camp focuses on the technique and the tactics a forward needs to put the ball into the back of the net. Goalkeeper As the goalie you will be the last one who can stop your opponent’s from scoring. You must therefore make few mistakes as possible. You need also to keep yourself cool even when you fail. To maintain your calm in difficult situations you will need a great personality and also ability to infect your teammates with your own confidence. |
